WSU to offer grant workshop

Registration is open for a workshop on grant-seeking and grant-writing basics. The session will be offered by Washington State University’s Office of Grant and Research Development.

The workshop will teach skills and strategies for grant writing. The event is primarily designed for graduate students, but faculty and staff members, administrative professionals, individuals from nonprofit groups, community members and all those with limited grant-writing experience are welcome.

The workshop will be Sept. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Phase I Auditorium, continuing on Sept. 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 110 of the Health Sciences Building (A, B, C and D Quad).

To register, go to the Office of Grant and Research Development homepage ( http://www.ogrd.wsu.edu), click on the 2004 Workshops link on the top right-hand side of the page; click on the Fall 2004 Workshop on Grant Seeking and Grant Writing Basics, WSU Riverpoint Campus, Spokane link; then click on the highlighted link labeled Sign Up for this Class, and provide the information requested.
