Valleyfest Fun

Events

8 a.m. - Fun run. It begins at the Sullivan Road Trailhead and ends at the Mirabeau Park North Trailhead.

8-11 a.m. - Pancake breakfast at the Mirabeau Meadows Park picnic shelter.

9 a.m. - Parade. The route begins at the University City Mall and travels north on University and east on Mission to Valley Mission Park. (Kids, come prepared to catch candy.)

10 a.m.-6 p.m. - Entertainment and free activities at Mirabeau Meadows Park.

Noon-7 p.m. - Open house at the Valley YMCA.

2 p.m. - Kids parade at Mirabeau Meadows. Meet at the main stage to participate.

Main Stage schedule

10 a.m. - Opening ceremony

10:30-11 a.m. - Western Dance Center Square Dancers

11-11:30 a.m. - Angus Scot Pipe Band

11:30-noon - Rhythm Envy drummers

Noon-1 p.m. - Dixie Dandies

1:15-1:45 p.m. - Spokane Taiko Group (Japanese drums)

3:40 p.m. - Mirabeau Meadows dedication with Spokane Valley Mayor Mike DeVleming and the Solar Energy Children’s Choir

4-6 p.m. - Tuxedo Junction Big Band concert

Meadow Stage Schedule

10 a.m. - Theatre Arts for Children production of Billy Goat’s Gruff

11 a.m. - Inland Northwest Dance Association

Noon-2:30 p.m. - Ethnic Dance Fusion (Includes Argentine Spirit Dancers, Falum Dafa (traditional Chinese), Haji (Middle Eastern), Hmong Youth Dancers, St. Andrews Society (Highland Dancers and Scottish Country Dancers) and the U-High Step Team.)

2:30-3 p.m. - Salsa and Cha Cha lessons with Felipe Lores

3-4 p.m. - An Dochas and the Haran Dancers
