Spring House Greening – Offered by the Spokane Regional Health District, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and the Spokane Regional Solid Waste Program, this organization will pick up hazardous household waste for seniors and the physically-challenged on April 16. Low Income Tax Aid – The Spokane Valley Senior Center, 11423 E. Mission, is offering tax aid from AARP volunteer staff through April 13. Volunteers will be available on Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For information, call the center at 926-1937.
