Work party needs volunteers
The Friends of the Little Spokane River Valley Trails Committee is holding a work party on Saturday at 10 a.m. The purpose is to begin work on the second leg of a proposed 30-mile pedestrian trail, being built by volunteers in the Little Spokane River Valley.
Volunteers are needed to help grub out the newest section of trail so gravel can be laid on a smooth surface. Other volunteers will be asked to pick up litter along the roads.
Lunch will be provided. Volunteers should bring drinking water, gloves and the type of tools needed for such work. Lunch will be provided.
Meet at the juncture of Little Spokane Drive and Shady Slope Road. For more information, call Tina Wynecoop at 466-6085.
