State of city address Wednesday

Spokane Valley Mayor Diana Wilhite will give a state of the city address Wednesday.

Wilhite is expected to discuss the city’s progress during its second year of operation, its achievements and the challenges ahead.

The event will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Mirabeau Park Hotel, 1100 N. Sullivan Road. It is organized by the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Avista Utilities.

The public is invited. Lunch is available for $25 but seating will be provided for everyone.
