Student Advisory Council seeking new members

The city of Spokane Valley has extended its deadline for applications to the 2005-06 Student Advisory Council.

Valley high school students have until May 15 to apply for the council, a group of young leaders that studies youth issues and makes recommendations to the mayor and City Council.

Applications are available through high school counselors and at City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave.
