Fairfield City Council – Council members discussed the tree trimming bids, but did not award the contract. They want to resolve an earlier tree trimming that may have resulted in the death of several trees before having more trimmed. Several citizens also complained about noise in their neighborhoods. Liberty Lake SCOPE – Volunteers are actively patrolling the area near Liberty Lake County Park. It’s a popular place for parties, and volunteers are on the lookout for illegal fires. Volunteers also decided to step up the late-night business patrols. (Source: President Wendy Van Orman)
