Kids Day – Spokane Parks and Recreation is presenting a day of activities, information booths and entertainment Saturday from 11 a.m-5 p.m. at Riverfront Park. For information, call 242-2505.

Express Summer Care – Spokane Public Schools is now taking enrollments for the Express Summer Program that runs through Aug. 26. For information about this program, call 354-7312.

Teen Adventure Camp – Teens 13-15 can enjoy adventure activities such as paddle boating, rock climbing and shooting pool at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook St., through Aug. 26. Cost of $87 per week includes USDA breakfasts and lunches, T-shirt and field trips. Spokane County Library District Events – From storytime sessions to computer classes, the month of August is packed with activities for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, teens and adults. Contact your area library for events, dates and times, or visit www.scld.org.

Multicultural Folk Dancing: Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers – Kids in grades three through six and seven through 12 can learn clogging, German, Ukrainian, Romanian and Irish folk dancing, swing and more at Silver Spurs International Folk Dance Youth Group, 1426 E. 19th Ave. Some scholarships are available.
