Court TV will broadcast Spokane case

Court TV will broadcast a show tonight about the investigation of a Spokane County murder.

Crews from “Forensics Files” came to Spokane in April to interview investigators who solved the 1999 murder of Christopher Wood. Detectives gathered enough evidence to show that Christopher’s father, 43-year-old Robert John Wood, killed his son in an elaborate scheme to get insurance money. Robert Wood killed himself in jail before he could be tried on a murder charge.

“Forensic Files” airs at 9 p.m. Court TV is channel 49 on Comcast cable in Spokane.
