Basketball

Health/Fitness

Dec. 27-29: Gonzaga Bulldog speed and agility winter break camp, run by Mike Nilson and hosted by U-District Physical Therapy, 125 S. Cowley. Fees: $75. Info: 458-7686.

Shooting

Dec. 3-4: Free Kids Shooting and Hunting Day, for kids ages 10-16, at Little Canyon Shooting preserve near Peck on Dec. 3 and at the preserve near Plummer on Dec. 4. Under supervision, kids will hunts for pen-raised pheasants and practice range shooting with .22 rifles as well as archery gear. Pre-register by calling (208) 486-6235.

Skiing/Snowboarding

Dec. 6: Ted Farwell, former U.S. Olympic Team nordic combined athlete will tell stories about his experiences as a competitor in three Olympics, 1948-1960, for the Panhandle Nordic Club meeting, 7 p.m., at Forest Service Fernan District Ranger Station, 2502 E. Sherman just east of Coeur d’Alene (go to back of building).

Basketball

Fishing/Hunting

Swede’s Fly Shop: Free fly fishing clinics for kids 10-15 years old. Clinics held first Saturday of November, January, March and May. Limit eight students per clinic; students can attend one clinic. Info: 323-0500.

Hockey

Shooting

Continuing: Landt Farms Sporting Clays 2005 tournament season has begun. Registration for all tournaments is at 8:30 a.m., with a 5-stand warm-up. There is a tournament every month. Info: George or Sally, 464-2070.

Walking/Running
