Western paintings

Larry Cox King Features Syndicate

Q: I have two Western paintings by W.M. Moyers entitled “Head & Heels” and “Broken Rope.” There is B.P. Co., Inc. printed in the lower left corner. — Martha, Hamilton, Ore.

A: It sounds like you have two lithographs. Lithographs are made from a process of printing that is accomplished by utilizing a smooth stone or metal plate. It is a popular way of reproducing works of art. Unless your lithograph is signed and numbered by the artist, it probably has limited value as a collectible.
