St. Vincent de Paul – needs volunteers to sort through boxes and bags of donated food items. Drivers are also needed for two hours each morning to pick-up bread from local retailers. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30-9:30 a.m.; current drivers license required. Contact Cyndi Cook at 534-2824, Ext. 18 for more information.

Musicfest Northwest – is looking for a volunteers to help in the office. Participants will help organize and conduct the annual music festival held in May. Duties include data entry, filing, bulk mailing and delivering bulletins. For more information, contact Sally Dotson at 448-8726.

Spokane County Juvenile Court – volunteers are needed to act as a positive role model for juvenile offenders involved with the court system, by offering friendship, support and encouragement. Mentors will be asked to commit to six months of service through the mentoring program, to meet with youth a few hours per week, at least three weeks each month. Must be 21 to participate, have had no criminal convictions with the last five years, must attend five-nine hours of training, and be dedicated to maintaining confidentiality.
