Wisch earns designation
Val Wisch, of Coldwell Banker Northwest Group, recently received the Graduate REALTORS® Institute (GRI) designation and the At Home With Diversity: One America certification from the National Association of REALTORS®.
The GRI is the second most sought-after designation by real estate professionals and is obtained by attending a specific, intensive series of at least 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering subjects in contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk reduction.
The subject matter has been chosen to educate practitioners about local, state and national real estate practices that affect the professionals and their clients. GRI courses are taught by leading real estate professionals from around the country. New technology, laws, procedures and the increasing sophistication of buyers and sellers require real estate practitioners to perform at an ever-increasing level of professionalism.
The National Association of REALTORS® promotes the role of REALTORS® in providing equal and affordable housing opportunities for all Americans. The NAR has developed the At Home with Diversity: One America certification, which prepares the REALTOR® to provide real estate services for all Americans in a culturally diverse real estate market.
NAR awarded this certificate to Wisch, a licensed real estate professional who met the eligibility requirements and completed the At Home with Diversity: One America course. The certificate — including NAR’s diversity marks — signals to Wisch’s current and future clients that she has been trained to work effectively with diversity in today’s markets.
