It’s meant for feline merriment, but the “Happy Cat” room at the Kootenai Humane Society just makes Jessica tense. She’s been known to get a wee bit testy with other cats and prefers the solitary comfort of her private cage. This February marks a full year for Jessica at the shelter, which is too long for any creature. She loves attention and a belly rub, and would do fine in a single-cat setting where she could wander freely. A Guardian Angel is sponsoring her with a discounted adoption fee.
