Concert will assist with heating bills

A concert to benefit the Cheney Outreach Program, to help pay heating bills of the less fortunate, will be next Thursday at Cheney High School, 460 N. Sixth St., in Cheney.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7. The opening band is Chalice, followed by Insult to Injury and Big Wang Theory, all from Cheney High School.

Tickets are $5 at the door.

Fund-raiser for LC seniors

The Lewis and Clark High School senior all-nighter parent committee is selling Tastefully Simple convenience-driven gourmet food items through March 8.

“Meal-in-a-bag” selections include bread, soup and dessert for $22. Soups, dips, bread mixes, salad dressing and snacks can be purchased for $1.99 to $7.99. Tastefully Simply cookbooks and gift packs are also available.

The deadline to order is March 8. Products can be picked up between 4 and 6 p.m. March 24 at the school, 521 W. Fourth Ave.

Montessori plans open house

The Southside Montessori Elementary School will host an open house March 6 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The school is located in the Manito United Methodist Church building, 3220 S. Grand Blvd. Enter through the west end of the building.

Fourth grade will be added in the fall.
