Spokane City Council

3:30 p.m. Monday, Council Chambers, City Hall, briefing on Feb. 28 meeting and approval of routine items.

6 p.m. Monday, Council Chambers, City Hall, regular legislative session including consideration of land-use amendments and revisions of the city zoning code. Also, council will consider a transfer of parking lots at the Spokane Arena to the Spokane Public Facilities District for $1.1 million.

Spokane County commissioners

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., weekly meeting with the county’s CEO, Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway. The agenda includes discussion of standardizing county forms and appointing district court judge.

2 p.m., weekly meeting on non-hearing items, lower level, Spokane County Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave.

Thursday, noon, meeting with the Spokane Valley City Council, Redwood Plaza, 11707 E. Sprague Ave.

Spokane Public Facilities District

12:30 p.m. Tuesday, district administrative office, 720 W. Mallon, consideration of construction of “green” buildings, use of tourism funds and proposed $1.1 million transfer of city-owned lots at the Spokane Arena.

Spokane County Board of Health

Thursday, 1:30 p.m., Spokane Regional Health District, 1101 W. College Ave.

Spokane Transit Authority

Thursday, 5:30 p.m., Spokane City Council Chambers, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. The board will hold a hearing on its proposed service and route changes.

Spokane Valley City Council

Tuesday, 6 p.m., regular meeting, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. Topics include: lodging tax advisory committee, library district annexation, wastewater Use Attainability Analysis, stormwater ordinance, nuisance code as it relates to garage sales.

Thursday, noon, joint meeting with Spokane County commissioners, City Hall. Agenda involves informal discussions on topics such as community development block funding, status of swimming pool fund, radio communications system and the wastewater collection system.

Spokane Valley City Hall will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents Day.

Spokane Plan Commission

12 p.m. Wednesday, council briefing center, lower level of City Hall, consideration of new residential zoning regulations and an update on city’s street commission.
