Spokane County United Way – Nominations are being taken for the 2005 Volunteer of the Year award. The categories are adult, business/industry, family, group, senior, senior group, and youth/young adult. Forms are available online at www.unitedwayspokane.org and the deadline is Monday. Friends of the Moran Prairie Library – Volunteers are needed to collect and sort books, distribute posters and flyers for the annual book sale coming up in June. For information, call Mary at 443-6663.
