Catch CVSD student performances at mall
Students from several schools in the Central Valley School District will perform for shoppers at the Spokane Valley Mall this week.
The 20th annual CV Days on the Mall will begin Tuesday and run through March 6.
The event includes more than 30 displays highlighting student achievements, and musical performances by students from 16 of Central Valley’s elementary and middle schools.
All performances will be held in the mall’s Center Court and are free and open to the public. The musical performances are scheduled as follows:
Wednesday
10:30 a.m. - Broadway Elementary “Stars”
11 a.m. - North Pines Middle School orchestra
Noon - Strings by students at Chester, Opportunity, Ponderosa, South Pines, and University Elementary schools.
12:30 p.m. - Evergreen Middle School choir
1 p.m. - Evergreen orchestra
1:30 p.m. - Greenacres Middle School orchestra
6:30 p.m. - Progress first- and second-grade music classes
7 p.m. - Progress and Chester third-grade music class

10 a.m. - Summit School orchestra
10:30 a.m. - Summit School choir
11 a.m. Ponderosa Elementary “Pine-tones”
11:30 a.m. - McDonald Elementary third-grade music class
