Student accused
POCATELLO, Idaho – An Idaho State University student who worked in the school’s computer center has been accused of retaliating against a student officer after receiving a $10 parking ticket.
Clifford Strupp, a 25-year-old senior, has been charged with altering information in another student’s personal school account. If convicted of the felony, he could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
The student officer, Cale Myers, said the incident happened after he issued Strupp a $10 parking ticket on Feb. 8. The following day, Myers said he received an e-mail that allegedly said, “Watch who you give a ticket to. Enjoy your classes.”
The junior found someone had tampered with his personal account, including erasing 10 of his registered 17 credit hours this semester.
