Proponents said they have started asking area residents to share memories of the Fox, which over the years has hosted stars such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Katherine Hepburn and Boris Karloff.

Submissions will be posted on the theater’s Web site, in special displays around town and inside the theater itself.
