Idaho DFG offers e-mail alerts

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game has a new Internet service that allows sportsmen to subscribe to instant e-mail alerts on specific subjects of interest.

The new feature will replace a general news release service that has been offered for several years.

Get a updates on fish counts at Snake River dams, agendas for Fish and Wildlife Commission meetings, results for big-game tag drawings — but only the stuff you want — by filing your preferences on the department’s Web site at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov.

Click on “Fish and Game Email Updates,” provide an e-mail address and select from the list of preferences. When updates are posted, subscribers will get and e-mail alert and a link directly to the Web site information.
