Tennessee needed a little luck to end a four-year drought against Connecticut.

The Huskies’ Ann Strother missed two of three free throws with 3.9 seconds left and the 10th-ranked Lady Vols escaped with a 68-67 victory over the 15th-ranked Huskies on Saturday in Hartford, Conn.

Freshman guard Sa’de Wiley-Gatewood converted a three-point play with 15 seconds left for a 68-66 lead, and the Lady Vols (10-3) held on to end a six-game losing streak over four years against the Huskies (8-4).

(1) LSU 76, (17) Georgia 52: Seimone Augustus scored 22 points to lead the Tigers (14-1, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) past the Bulldogs (12-4, 2-1) in Baton Rouge, La. … (3) Baylor 63, (7) Texas 60: Sophia Young had 25 points and 15 rebounds to send the Bears (12-1, 2-0 Big 12) past the Longhorns (8-4, 1-1) in Waco, Texas. … (12) Texas Tech 76, Oklahoma St. 38: Chesley Dabbs scored 19 points to help the Lady Raiders (11-2, 2-0 Big 12) past the Cowgirls (5-7, 0-2). … (14) Rutgers 64, St. John’s 49: The Scarlet Knights (10-2, 1-0 Big East) routed the Red Storm (12-2, 1-2). … (20) Kansas State 63, Kansas 45: Kendra Wecker had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Wildcats (10-3, 1-1 Big 12) past the Jayhawks (7-6, 0-2) in Lawrence, Kan.
