USC outlasts Cougs in overtime

PULLMAN, Wash. – Camille LeNoir scored 14 points and led Southern California to a 77-75 overtime victory over Washington State Sunday.
Eshaya Murphy and Kim Gipson recorded double-doubles for the Women of Troy (10-4, 4-1 Pac-10). Murphy scored 10 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and Gipson scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds.
Jamie Hagiya added 11 points for Southern Cal. Four players finished with double-digit scoring.
The Women of Troy held a 42-37 lead at halftime. The Cougars (4-11, 0-6 Pac-10), after missing their first 16 attempts of the second half, took the lead on a basket by Emma Joneby.
But WSU blew a seven-point lead, and a basket by LeNoir with 39 seconds left forced overtime.
