In the Associated Press state rankings released Tuesday, the only GNL boys team ranked was Medical Lake, tied for sixth. If the Cardinals (6-2, 0-2) want to stick around in the top 10, they’ll have to turn around things this week after dropping their first two league games. ML hosts first-place Riverside (7-2, 2-0) on Tuesday. Fifth-ranked Lakeside’s girls (9-2, 2-1) handed fourth-ranked Riverside (8-1, 1-1) its first loss on Tuesday during a 51-48 decision at Riverside.
