Goose season extended in Washington

Idaho’s late goose hunting seasons closed Friday, while Washington is holding an extended season in certain areas starting today. The Sports section’s Friday hunting and fishing report did not clearly state that the extended season is only in Washington.

Department affiliation clarified

Judy Theodorson, director of WSU-Spokane’s new daylighting laboratory, is an architect, but she teaches in the school’s interior design department. A story in Friday’s Business section connected her with the wrong university department.

DJ was known as Grand Groove

Because of an editor’s error, DJ Breezy Brown’s former name was incorrect in Friday’s 7. Breezy Brown, aka Tony Brown, previously was known as Grand Groove.

Seattle garden show runs Feb. 9-13

The Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle runs from Feb. 9 to Feb. 13. A note in Friday’s garden calendar said otherwise.

Allen owned investment company

Ronald Allen owned Lucky U Investments, not Lucky U Auto Sales. Because of incorrect information provided to the newspaper, his Wednesday obituary stated otherwise. A corrected obituary appears in today’s IN Life section.
