Lincoln Heights school plans open house
Lincoln Heights Elementary School is planning an open house so former students can tour the old building before it is is demolished and rebuilt later this year. The open house probably will be in late May or early June.
One planned part of the event is a continuously running slide show that would include pictures from all the decades the building has been in use. The facility, built in 1953, originally was a first- through eighth-grade school.
Principal Mike McGinnis is asking the public for photos so the school can scan them for the slide show. The photos will be returned after they are scanned.
