Summer meals
The Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls School Districts are participating in the summer food service program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability. The program will run through Aug. 19 at the following schools and times.
Coeur d’Alene
Borah Elementary – 632 Borah Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Fernan Elementary – 520 N. 21st St., breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Hayden Meadows Elementary – 900 Hayden Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8 a.m. and 8:15-9 a.m., lunch from 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Ramsey Elementary – 1351 W. Kathleen Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Sorensen Elementary – Ninth Street and Coeur d’Alene Avenue, breakfast from 8:30-9 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Project CDA – 725 Hazel Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8:15 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Lunch menu for July 4-8.
Monday – No meals on holiday.
Tuesday – Mini corn dogs, potato choice, carrots, honeydew melon, milk.
Wednesday – Chicken drumstick, whipped potatoes with gravy, green beans, whole wheat roll, milk.
Thursday – Breadsticks with sauce, string cheese, carrots, grapes, milk.
Friday – Macaroni and cheese, broccoli salad, orange wedges, whole wheat roll, milk.
Post Falls
Frederick Post Elementary – 205 W. Mullan Ave., breakfast from 8-9 a.m., lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Post Falls Middle School – 301 E. 16th Ave., breakfast, 8-9 a.m., lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Post Falls High School – 2832 E. Poleline Road, breakfast, 7:15-8:15 a.m., lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Lunch menu for July 4-8.
Monday – No meals due to the holiday.
Tuesday – Corn dog, veggies, graham crackers, milk.
Wednesday – Chili nachos, veggies, fruit, milk.
Thursday – Pretzel with sauce, fruit and veggies, milk.
Friday – Chicken sandwich, fries, fruit, Curious George snack, milk.
