Search for Boy Scout scaled back

Associated Press

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. – Park officials will scale back their search for a Boy Scout who fell into the Yellowstone River two weeks ago, while searches for two other missing people continue.

Luke Sanburg, 13, of Helena, was swept into the river on June 24 while camping with his Boy Scout troop in Yellowstone National Park. An extensive search has failed to turn up any sign of Sanburg.

“Fishermen and hikers in this area will continue to be alerted to watch for Luke,” officials said in a news release.

Meanwhile, searches continue for Candace May Kellie, 19, of Belgrade, Mont., and Joseph R. Miller, 59, of Seattle.
