6 p.m. Monday, Council Chambers, City Hall, consideration of increased fine for use of fireworks inside the city and an ordinance restricting the demolition of historic buildings downtown and in historic districts.

Spokane County Commissioners

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, weekly briefing with the county CEO, conference room 2B, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The agenda includes a Deer Park request for a school resource officer.

2 p.m., Tuesday, weekly board meeting, commissioners’ hearing room, Public Works Building.

Spokane Valley Planning Commission

6 p.m., Thursday, Spokane Valley City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. The commission will hold its final public hearing on the Spokane Valley Comprehensive Plan, which will guide land use and other planning considerations for the next 20 years.

Boundary Review Board

3 p.m., Monday, Public Works Hearing Room, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The agenda includes a proposed Fairfield annexation.

Spokane Plan Commission

Noon, Wednesday, council briefing center, lower level of City Hall, briefing session and workshop; public hearing at 2:30 p.m.

Spokane County Planning Commission

9 a.m. Thursday, Hearing Room, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The commission will discuss the county’s capital facilities plan, the comprehensive plan and population allocations.

Spokane Park Board

1:30 p.m. Thursday, Council Chambers, City Hall, consideration of a public market in Riverfront Park.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m., Tuesday, Spokane Valley City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. The council will discuss an ordinance regarding insurance and permits for block parties and will deliberate further on a hearing examiner appeal.
