There are many dogs available for adoption, but this one has to be the gentlest one out there her age.

She has a beautiful brindle coat that she presses against her kennel cage, hoping someone will reach down and touch her. She never barked or whined, and when we walked, she stayed at my side and never pulled on her leash.

She was nothing but snuggles while we sat in the yard.

Missy was found running loose in Stevens County. She had a broken tail that has since been amputated and is healing nicely.

Missy is the perfect size and disposition for just about any home, and for a limited time, SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. has a $50 senior discount available.

If you want to meet Missy, you can visit SpokAnimal at 710 N. Napa St. The telephone number is 534-8133.

SpokAnimal is open seven days a week, and adoption fees include spay, rabies vaccine, license and microchip.
