Girl Scouts Summer Science in the Park – Launch water rockets, conduct chemistry investigations and explore an engineering project July 18-21 with the Girl Scouts’ Inland Empire Council. This event is free and open to all girls. For times and locations, call 747-8091.

Spokane Public Libraries Summer Programs – Through the end of this month school-age children can participate in Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds, a summer reading club that includes fun and educational programs.
