Comets come back

NEW YORK — Michelle Snow’s jumper with 0.3 seconds left capped Houston’s 15-point second-half comeback and lifted the Comets to a 71-69 victory over the New York Liberty on Wednesday.

Sheryl Swoopes scored 21 points, Tina Thompson had 17, Janeth Arcain 13 and Snow 10 for the Comets (14-9).

Shameka Christon missed a potential tying alley-oop for New York (11-10) as time expired.
