Summer Science in the Park – Launch water rockets, conduct chemistry investigations and explore engineering projects with the Girl Scouts Inland Empire Council. Girl Scouts Urban Day Camp – Girl Scouts Inland Empire Council is hosting day camps Mondaythrough Friday and Aug. 8-12 for girls ages 7-11. Cost is $100 per week or $190 for both weeks. Activities include playing in Riverfront Park, touring Fairchild Air Force Base and Krispy Kreme, and picking peaches at Green Bluff. Summer Art Camp – Elementary school-aged kids are invited to learn all about art, with themes ranging from ancient Greek mythology to modern pop art, with the Spokane Art School. Express Summer Care – Spokane Public Schools is now taking enrollments for the Express Summer Program that runs through Aug. 26. For information about this program, call 354-7312.

Teen Adventure Camp – Teens 13-15 can enjoy adventure activities such as paddle boating, rock climbing and shooting pool at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook St., through Aug. 26. Cost of $87 per week includes USDA breakfasts and lunches, T-shirt and field trips.
