Shooting victim’s name misspelled

The name of Matthew Migaki, who was shot to death early Sunday, was misspelled in a story Wednesday because of a reporter’s error.

Animal control cost misstated

Because of a reporting error, a June 1 article incorrectly reported the amount the city of Spokane Valley pays for animal control services. Spokane Valley’s animal control contract costs twice as much as Spokane’s.

Tribes operate ferry on Roosevelt

The Colville Confederated Tribes operates a ferry on Lake Roosevelt in Washington. Because of an editing error, a correction Wednesday listed the wrong lake.

School board to meet at 5:30

The Spokane Public School Board will meet to discuss board candidates at 5:30 p.m. today at the administration office, 200 N. Bernard St. Because of a copy editing error, the time was wrong on a headline Wednesday.
