Helen Beaver story a welcome change

Thank you for the article in the June 16 Voice about Helen Beaver’s legacy and her history, which spanned 101 years.

In the midst of Michael Jackson, Jim West, missing children, murder, rape and war, it is uplifting that the story of this remarkable woman was deemed newsworthy.

Perhaps faith will be restored if more of these stories are told.
