The Spokesman-Review

A community meeting, sponsored by the Friends of the Little Spokane River Valley, will be held to discuss the planned expansion of the Urban Growth Boundary and how the change will impact the valley.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Covenant United Methodist Church, 15515 N. Gleneden Drive.

The Spokane County Building and Planning staff will give a presentation and take comments from citizens.

One of the goals of the Friends of the Little Spokane River Valley is to “preserve and sustain the unique character of the middle reach of the Little Spokane River Valley, including its open space, view and natural settings, by encouraging lower density zoning.”
