Before- and After-school Programs – Educational and fun programs are available at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook. Transportation to and from some local elementary schools is available and state pay is accepted. Includes a USDA approved snack. Jump Rope Academy – Instruction includes single rope and double Dutch, 2727 N. Madelia St., Suite 5; ages 2-adult. Monday-Saturday. Free introduction class. Multi-Cultural Folk Dancing: Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers – Kids in grades three through six and seven through 12 can learn clogging, German, Ukrainian, Romanian and Irish folk dancing, swing and more at Silver Spurs International Folk Dance Youth Group, 1426 E. 19th Ave. Some scholarships are available.
