Looking back Chicks in 1938

Early birds

Nearly 4,000 chicks were hatched in an incubator at Emskamp Blue Ribbon Chick Hatchery in January 1938. The first chicks of 1938 to hatch were pictured with Adolph Emskamp, owner of the hatchery at 226 S. Washington St.
