Spring House Greening – Offered by the Spokane Regional Health District, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and the Spokane Regional Solid Waste Program, this organization will pick up hazardous household waste for seniors and the physically challenged on April 16. Easter Brunch – The Brotherhood of Friends, 933 W. Third St., is hosting this buffet-style brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m-3 p.m. The cost is $15.95 for adults and $7.95 for children. For information, call the B.O.F. at 624-5159.

Low-Income Tax Aid – The Spokane Valley Senior Center, 11423 E. Mission Ave., is offering tax aid from AARP volunteer staff through April 13. Volunteers will be available on Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For information, call the center at 926-1937. Tax aid is also available for seniors at the Spokane Valley Community Center, 10814 E. Broadway Ave., on Mondays from noon-4 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. For information, call 927-1153.
