NEW FACES

Andrew Schultheis has been hired at Witherspoon, Kelley, Davenport & Toole as a principal attorney. He is a graduate of Whitman College and the University of Michigan Law School and is a corporate and securities lawyer.

Harmon Glass Doctor has hired Bonnie Larson as a marketing consultant and outside sales representative. She has seven years of sales experience and previously owned and operated Sparky’s Subs at the Tapio Center.

Patrick McCord has been hired as a project manager at Graham Construction. He previously worked at Panco Construction and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from the University of Oklahoma.

Windermere Real Estate Spokane City Group has hired Tammy McCoy as a sales assistant. She holds a master’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and previously worked as a teacher.

Dr. Christopher Lang has been hired as an orthopedic surgeon at Spokane Orthopedics. He is a 1994 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency and internship at Atlanta Medical Center. He has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Internal Medicine Residency Spokane has hired Dr. Birget Bodine. Bodine, who practices internal medicine, is a 1997 graduate of Ruprecht-Karl University and has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Susan Burke has been hired as a sales manager at Way Out West Auction Company.

Keller Williams Realty Spokane Valley has hired Ron Taskey as a real estate sales and management professional. He has 30 years of experience in real estate and has also worked in Arizona and Florida.

Chris Fairborn has been hired as a patent attorney at Lee & Hayes. Fairborn previously worked at Reid Law.

The Orthopaedic Specialty Clinic has hired Kathleen Schindele as a certified physician’s assistant. She is a 2004 graduate of Rocky Mountain College and has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

KUDOS

JC Penney has bestowed the Chairman’s Award on employees in two of its North Idaho stores. Keith Johnson works in the JC Penney at Bonner Mall and Marshall Hurst works in store at Silver Lake Mall.

Phil Schaefer, an employee at the Ash & Rowan Ace Hardware store, has been recognized as one of the chain’s top-performing retail associates in the country. Schaefer was one of five employees in the country to receive this recognition.

Joel Steward has earned the Building Operator Certification Level II. Steward works in general maintenance at East Valley School District.

PROMOTED

Inland Empire Distribution Systems Inc. has promoted Matthew Ewers to vice president of business development.

Sue Welberry has been promoted to business and member development manager at Global Credit Union. She has 25 years of experience in financial services.

Brent Harding has been promoted to principal at Northwest Architectural Company. Harding was previously an associate principal at the firm, where he has worked since 1992. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Oregon.

Northwest Architectural Company has promoted Michael O’Malley to principal. O’Malley, who was previously an associate principal, has been with the firm since 1983. He is a graduate of the Phoenix Institute of Technology.

Gregory Hoffman has been promoted to senior associate at Northwest Architectural Company. He has been with the firm since 1989 and is an electrical/communications designer.

North Idaho College has promoted John Sarchio to coordinator of the Education Opportunity Center. He has been an advisor in the program since 2002 and holds a master’s degree in counseling.
