• The 6th annual Garden Expo will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Spokane Community College’s Lair Student Union Building, 1810 N. Greene.

• Admission and parking are free.

How to Get the Most out of Garden Expo

• 1. Come early, stay late. Take your time and pace yourself

• 2. Use wagons and strollers with caution and be mindful of other people around you.

• 3. Bring extra cash and credit card. The cash machine in the SCC Lair always gets tapped out on Expo day.

• 4. Bring teenagers to haul your finds to the car. They serve pizza at the Garden Café.

• 5. Don’t leave plants sitting in hot cars too long.

• 6. Bring note pad to make notes on where you want to return.

• 7. Bring sunscreen and a hat. Drink lots of water.

• 8. Bring a friend to share the fun with.
