Look for Lilac coverage

This year marks the coronation of the 60th Lilac queen, and the Voice is marking the occasion with a special edition next Thursday, two days before the Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade.

The current princesses haven’t been left out, either. They’ll be spilling the beans on everything from their favorite hair-care products to their shoe size.

In addition, we’ll talk to the grand marshal, a local man who’s now a major general in the Army, examine the life of a chaperone, and look at the many celebrities who have participated in the parade, including one known more for associating with a giant bear than with a Lilac queen.
