If you’re looking for some warm fuzzies, here are two.

Sonja, a 2-year-old Siamese mix, and Tina, a 1-year-old long-haired tabby, were dropped off at Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service’s together.

Sonja is an outgoing black and brown marbled Siamese mix who has been spayed and de-clawed. She likes to cuddle and be scratched under the chin. The large blue-eyed cat whips her tail around like she might bat at a string if given the opportunity.

Tina, a 1-year-old gray and black striped tabby, isn’t as outgoing as Sonja. She’d prefer to curl up in a lap and peer at passersby with her gold eyes. Her tabby markings are accented with a white chest and paws.

Anyone interested in adopting these cats or other animals can visit the SCRAPS shelter at 2521 N. Flora Road, call the shelter at 477-2532 or visit the Web site at www.spokanecounty.org/animal. Cats cost $55.67 to adopt, which includes a license, neutering, vaccinations, a microchip implant and a trip to the veterinarian.
