Hospice of Spokane – The next volunteer training session will be in September. Anyone interested in helping those in their final stages of life should call Jim at 456-0438 or e-mail jedwards@hospiceofspokane.org.

Junior Achievement of the Inland Northwest – Volunteers are needed to work in middle school and high school classrooms for an hour a week for up to eight weeks to talk about business and economics and inspire young people. For information, call Susie at 624-7114 or e-mail suzie@jaspokane.org.

Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs – Volunteers are needed to help with data entry, copying and filing. High school and college students looking for summer activities are welcome. For information, call Linda at 456-7111, ext. 224 or e-mail Duncan@snapwa.org.

Spokane Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau – Friendly and well-groomed people who have lived in Spokane for at least two years are needed to work in the downtown center to provide assistance to visitors. For information, call Jenean at 747-3230 or e-mail jhughes@visitspokane.com.

Union Gospel Mission Ministries – Volunteers are needed to be transitional apartment managers, receptionists, cooks, administrative assistants, pro-bono dentists, attorneys and to provide prayer support.
