Firemen worked fast, efficiently

We want to extend our sincere thanks to the firemen – from five stations in Spokane Valley – who responded to our home fire on April 22 about 6:30 p.m. It is difficult to express the depth of our appreciation for their caring – both for our home and for us. We, of course, initially thought they didn’t come fast enough and didn’t start the water soon enough, but we realize that was only from the perspective of homeowners watching smoke pour out of their house. The firemen worked fast and efficiently and did a superb job! We especially want to thank Coop, Tony and Tim. Also, three firemen came by the next day and Monday to check on the house and us.

In addition, we want to thank neighbors Laura and Tony who came to warn. Without their noticing the smoke, we could have lost our entire home. We were inside just enjoying a few minutes of relaxation after supper and were totally unaware of what was happening in our attic.
