Corbin Park Sale

Sally Reid called to remind us that the annual Corbin Park community sale will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 11.

Homes surrounding the park, as well as neighboring streets, will participate. I hear there might even be edible goodies available.

Olivia’s Cottage

If you’re willing to drive a couple of miles, you can spend a little time at Olivia’s Cottage, a small antique-filled building north of Spokane. Olivia’s will be open for business 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Sunday, beginning the second week of June.

Owner Gail Quaid sent a flyer listing furniture, shabby-chic garden items, pottery and vintage clothing.

Quaid says everything will be sold at “estate sale” prices, and you never know what you will find.

Although there won’t be anymore weekend sales until fall, Quaid is happy to open the shop by appointment.

Olivia’s Cottage is at 21424 N. Panorama Road in Colbert. Directions: Take Highway 395 north, and turn right on Halfmoon Road. Panorama Road is half a mile south. For more information call 953-3698.
