When Pullman hosts 5-5 Othello in the first round of the State 2A football playoffs, the Greyhounds must look past the five losses. Those losses came to 10-0 Royal, 9-1 East Valley-Yakima, 10-0 Cashmere, 10-0 Connell and 9-1 Prosser, all playoff teams. Their only common opponent, 3A No. 5 Prosser, lost to Pullman 35-28 and beat Othello 53-13. Othello beat Grandview, Colville’s first-round opponent, 20-0 in September. Colville is looking for its first state tournament win.
