Alzheimer’s patient missing from Worley

From staff reports

A Worley man in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease was missing Friday night, and the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s help in finding him.

Herbert William Cambra, 81, was last seen at his home about 2 p.m. Friday, said sheriff’s Lt. L. Carrington in a press release.

Cambra was driving a 2001 maroon Chevrolet pickup with Oregon license plate XYY699. He is white, about 195 pounds and 5-foot-9 with gray hair, green eyes and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue windbreaker, brown flannel shirt, blue jeans and a “Retired Navy” baseball cap.

Cambra has ties to Gold Beach, Ore., and may be trying to drive there, Carrington said.

Carrington asks that anyone with information call the department at (208) 446-1300.
