Toon Disney’s Passport to Reading – Begins Saturday at the Downtown Branch of the Spokane Public Library, 906 W Main Ave. Roland Smith, award-winning children’s author, will read from one of his books, “The Cryptid Hunters”; children will receive a signed copy of the book and a free Toon Disney passport; call 838-8442.

Multicultural Folk Dancing: Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers – Kids in grades three through six and seven through 12 can learn clogging, German, Ukrainian, Romanian and Irish folk dancing, swing and more at Silver Spurs International Folk Dance Youth Group, 1426 E. 19th Ave. Some scholarships are available.
