Ranch Horse Trail Training - In conjunction with ” ‘Cowboy Up,’ the 10th Annual Palouse Country Cowboy Poetry and Western Music Festival,” this clinic will be taught by Mitch and JoLinn Hoover. Murder in Granite City Mystery Ride - This is a great opportunity to spend some trail time with your horse or mule, enjoy the fall mountain colors and play detective. Use your clues to figure out which suspect committed the murder over a warm bowl of chili. Funds raised from this event will be used to buy fencing materials to upgrade the Spokane Humane Society’s containment areas for rehabilitated equines. Pet Wellness Fair - The Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center is presenting this fair to inform pet owners about the aging process and the importance of twice-yearly examinations. The event will include a pet Halloween costume contest. Saturday. 12-4 p.m., 510 S. Sullivan Road. 928-PETS (7387).

Halloween Picture Fund Raiser for Therapy Pets - Therapy Pets serve Mini-Cassia and is a small non-profit group of volunteers that take out pets to visit at nine local facilities in the Mini-Cassia area. Come in costume, bring the kids, bring the dog, bring the cat, or just come as you are, get your picture taken and support a good cause.
